Liar, liar pants on fire. We’ve all heard and said this expression as kids. And this is so on point for this Inflation Reduction Act. Both the Congressional Budget Office and Penn Wharton Budget Model both concur that this Inflation Reduction Act will have minimal, if any, effect on reducing inflation.
But certain of The American Whores will greatly benefit from this infused socialism. The “alternative energy sector” will benefit by $430 billion. This industry, like all other American industries, has their collective hands out, just waiting to snatch up billions of US tax dollars (actually US debt dollars). The Congress makes it seem like Americans are inundated with dirty air and dirty water. This is totally ridiculous as America has already spent billions on clean energy, clear air and clean water. And if alternative energy is really necessary then the free capital markets would produce this energy and Americans would buy such energy. This is nothing more than phase two of the Obama Solyndra escapades. If the free markets cannot convince the public to use clean energy why does anyone think more National Debt is the answer.
We, as Americans, continue to be lured into the Socialism realm of resources being generated by fantasy debt which will not be repaid. And five years from now I bet Congress will pass more legislation, funded by more US debt and there will be a bunch of The American Whores with their hands out and wallets open to receive these funds.
