Once again, The American Whores need money. It’s February 3, 2023, and $31.4 Trillion in US
National Debt is just not enough (poor us-INDEED!). The finger pointing has begun. Newly
elected House Speaker McCarthy wants spending cuts in the federal budget before Congress
would be willing to raise the National Debt Limit. McCarthy, however, faces strong opposition
from President Biden, who insists the National Debt must be raised with “no strings attached”.
I recall the demand for spending cuts is made from Congress each time Congress is controlled by
the party not occupying the Oval Office, which is the present case. And the promised cuts,
whether part of a compromise or not, never materialize; hence the steady, and unsustainable
National Debt.
Who knows how many trillions of dollars of a Debt Increase the Congress will approve this
time. They have no choice to substantially raise the Debt. The 330 million American Whores
rely on this debt and demand the spending keep all of us, rich and poor, afloat. The concept of a
Trillion dollars is so hard to grasp. When the Congress adds a trillion dollars of debt this means
the US goes into more debt at the rate of about $32,000 PER SECOND. YES, EVERY DAMN
SECOND. Talk about continued proverbial “Holiday gifts under our tree” for the 330 million
spoiled brats.
Of course, the negotiations will become heated, and Republicans will blame Democrats and vice
versa. According to the US Treasury at https://home.treasury.gov/policy-issues/financial-
markets-financial-institutions-and-fiscal-service/debt-limit the “National Debt since 1960,
Congress has acted 78 separate times to permanently raise, temporarily extend, or revise the
definition of the debt limit – 49 times under Republican presidents and 29 times under
Democratic presidents. Congressional leaders in both parties have recognized that this is
necessary.” NECESSARY!!! Only if we want to feed the frenzy of our infantile population that
preaches Capitalism as a mirage, but totally relies on Socialism to survive.
Maybe before Congress further raises the National Debt each citizen should personally agree to
guarantee their share of the National Debt. See the below chart-each US Citizen owes about
$95,000. After all, this money is for our personal insatiable demand for goods and services well
beyond what we deserve and can afford. And other countries of the world have their own debt
crisis, but we seem to be the leader in this unenviable statistic:
